KCDII Reputation Rebalance - Hardcore Version Changelog

This version makes reputation management significantly more challenging than the base game. Gaining reputation is much harder, and losing it is much easier, making actions and choices have a far greater impact.

General Changes:

  - Positive Reputation Gains Greatly Reduced: All sources of positive reputation gain (e.g., quest rewards, successful dialogue checks, shop transactions) have been reduced to 50% of their original value (divided by 2).
  - Negative Reputation Losses Greatly Increased: All sources of negative reputation loss (e.g., crimes, failed dialogue checks, quest failures, negative events) have been increased to 200% of their original value (multiplied by 2).
  - Dialogue Skill Checks Rebalanced for Hardcore:
      - Success Rewards Reduced: Reputation gain from successful dialogue skill checks (**impress_success**, **persuade_success**, **might_success**) is reduced to 60% of the original.
      - Failure Penalties Increased: Reputation loss from failed dialogue skill checks (**impress_fail**, **persuade_fail**, **threaten_fail**, **might_fail**, **dominate_fail**, **coerce_fail**) is increased to 150% of the original.
  - Shop Transaction Reward Severely Reduced: Reputation gain from shop transactions has been severely reduced to minimize easy reputation gains.
  - Greeting Bonus Minimized: Reputation gain from greetings is minimized.
  - Greeting Penalty Increased: Reputation loss from negative greetings is increased to emphasize the impact of negative social interactions.

Examples of Specific Changes:

  - **quest_reward_4_normal**: Reduced from **0.25** to **0.125**.
  - **quest_reward_7_max**: Reduced from **1.5** to **0.75**.
  - **crime_theft_individual**: Increased from **-0.25** to **-0.5**.
  - **crime_murder_reported**: Increased from **-1.5** to **-3**.
  - **impress_success**: Reduced from **0.1** to **0.06**.
  - **impress_fail**: Increased from **-0.02** to **-0.03**.
  - **auto_witness_crime_theft**: Increased from **-0.1** to **-0.2**.
  - **auto_hit_melee_weak_noChangeHostility**: Increased from **-0.2** to **-0.4**.
  - **shop_transaction**: Reduced from **0.05** to **0.025**.
  - **greeting_increase**: Reduced from **0.02** to **0.01**.
  - **greeting_decrease**: Increased from **-0.02** to **-0.03**.
