  • Experimental Blocking Mechanics: Requires matching directions to perfect blocks, making ripostes practical and impactful.
  • Combat Flow Optimization: Eliminates repetitive perfect block cycles that wear down weapons and prolong fights.
  • Enhanced Offensive Moves: Feints, charged attacks, and other maneuvers are significantly empowered.
  • Adaptive Enemy AI: Enemies now switch direction and feint more frequently, increasing combat challenge.
  • Dynamic 1vX Encounters: Allows for faster kills, but makes blocking multiple attacks more demanding.
  • The mod is experimental with many parameter changes that may still need fine-tuning.

How it works:

Since blunt weapons and polearms only have 3 attack zones, there are only 3 areas that you have to direction match (left, top and bottom, right). See ‘Images’ tab for details.

Designed to work with the Weapon Balance Overhaul mod.

If you are in the thrust guard, you can perfect block top guard, and if you are in top guard, you can perfect block thrusts. Left and right are more strict.
